What We Do.

Plastic welding is the process of bonding or fusing plastic together by applying hot air and introducing “like” material into the weld area.

We use both a small handheld unit and a larger extrusion welder(think of this as a MIG welder for plastic).

The critical factors to ensure a successful weld include surface preparation, correct plastic identification, and heat temperature.

Common plastics that we are asked to repair include but are certainly not limited to PP, PPEPDM, PE, HDPE, ABS, PVC. If we can identify the plastic and it is accessible with our equipment, we can usually repair it.

 

Heat reshaping of car bumpers and modification of all sorts of tanks is also something we can help you with.
